Rooms & Suites

Named after a fine old horse who occupied the field immediately in front of the house when we first moved here, this is a pair of connected rooms with fine views eastward over the Firth of Clyde; perfect for enjoying the sunrise over the sea and Ayrshire coast beyond. (NB Blackout style curtains are provided.)

 

It consists of a very spacious bedroom with a super-king-sized Hypnos bed, which can also be made up as twin beds if required and an adjacent sitting space with upholstered modern ‘club/lounge style’ chairs together with a desk and work chair. 

 

A variety of F&B colours have been used to provide a light and airy feel: ‘Pigeon’ and ‘Shaded White’ in the bedroom and sitting rooms with ‘Dix Blue’ used withing the adjoining en-suite bathroom.  In addition to the books provided in the suites sitting room we have also decorated the walls with paintings and photographs produced by the couple from whom we bought the house and who lived here for 20 years.
